Providing safe, secure, affordable homes

Raven Housing Trust is a housing association based in Redhill, working across East Surrey and Sussex. We own or manage over 7,000 homes, providing affordable homes to approximately 14,500 people. We have a long-term stake in the success of our communities.

Ensuring people have access to safe, secure, affordable homes is at the centre of everything Raven does. With such a local focus, we are ideally placed to understand the needs of our customers, and deliver a housing service they can trust.

We work closely with the local authorities in these areas to help meet our local housing needs.

Quality homes fit for the future

While the majority of our customers rent their homes, to help those who aspire to own their own properties Raven also provides some homes for shared ownership and market sale. As well as helping to make home ownership affordable to those who want it, these sales generate additional income which we invest in additional supply, existing stock and services for our customers.

We invest in our homes to make sure they are safe today, free from damp and mould, and, through our programme of energy efficiency and carbon reduction improvements, we ensure these properties will continue to provide sustainable homes for future generations that are warmer, quieter, and cheaper to run.

Where our homes are no longer capable of meeting modern needs, we are regenerating them, replacing them with new homes to high standards of energy efficiency. We have committed that this will see no net loss of affordable housing and, where we can, we will increase the number of affordable homes.

We aim to ensure that all our customers are provided with services they value and trust; services that work alongside them, saving them time, giving them options and helping them enjoy their homes.

An organisation at the heart our communities

As a local housing association we pride ourselves on being at the very heart of our communities. We work in partnership with other local organisations to create neighbourhoods where people want to live; neighbourhoods they are proud to call home.

We invest in communal areas and greenspaces, and we have a team dedicated to tackling anti-social behaviour.

As well as providing much needed affordable homes, our teams provide a variety of support services to our customers and the wider community.

We run a number of employment programmes, supporting local residents and helping those furthest from the job market back into employment.

We have financial support teams available to help customers who are finding it difficult financially, supporting with budgeting advice, right through to helping them access grants and benefits. We also have a financial support fund available to help customers who are struggling with the cost of living.

At Raven we provide more than bricks and mortar; we build communities and we create neighbourhoods; we build homes and we change lives.

Where We Are

Most of our homes are in the Reigate and Banstead Borough but we are increasingly working in the surrounding areas of Mole Valley, Epsom and Ewell, Mid Sussex, Crawley, Woking, Sutton and Tandridge.
